I can't resist the appeal of before and afters. Sometimes you just can't appreciate the after photo as much without that before shot right next to it.
See what I mean? :)
This master bath went from a typical builder bathroom to a custom elegant retreat. A free standing tub, new window, beautiful chandelier, and all new finishes and fixtures update the look dramatically. We kept the bathroom cabinets and mirror frames. They weren't bad, just needed some fresh paint and new panels on the ends of the cabinets where the tub deck was removed.
So glad the glass block is gone. The creamy stained glass design kept things simple and softer.
I love wallpaper, but not this.
We wanted a soft, uncluttered look where the stone was the star.
Beautiful, vein-cut travertine on the floors and all the way up the shower walls.
I do love a before and after!

This clearly shows that it's all about the finishes. Replacing the window was genius! Well done, Carla, once again!
ReplyDeleteNice before and afters in there...
ReplyDeleteme too... I kinda need to see the before pic,
maybe to validate the improvement ♥
Love B & A's. There are so many builder basic elements in our home that I'd love to replace. I do fee a little guilty getting rid of items that are not worn and in good working condition-thank goodness for Habitat for Humanity to rid me of my guilt. Someone else gets a new fixture when I replace mine. Everyone wins.
ReplyDeleteI love this bathroom! Really beautiful. Love the transformation of the shower.
ReplyDeleteWonderful tranformation! Love the new space.

ReplyDeleteFabulous redo!! What an incredible improvement. I'm sure the clients were thrilled!!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, Carla, really. You do the nicest work. I want to sit on that lady-like chair and sip coffee while I get ready in the morning. Wanna come do mine??
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bathroom. Job well done.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done! I love that flooring! Yummy! The shower looks like quite luxurious! The new mirror and lighting fixture over the vanity is definitely a better look and removing the crown molding lightened it up! The new tub and window are amzing! Super job!
